Jake's: Coffee, Tea & Sandwiches is the proud recipient of the 2010 Ripon Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.  Jake's is the creation of Jake Parks along with his parents, Phil and Donna Parks. The Parks family has been apart of the Ripon community for more than 20 years.  Phil and Donna having previously owned a Chevron station in Ripon, while their kids were playing sports (baseball, basketball, football and soccer), attending local schools, Ripon Chiefs, Babe Ruth and participating in numerous other activities.

Phil and Donna Parks became involved in the Ripon community, in 1991, purchasing a Chevron Station, off the Ripon exit, from Phil's brother Bill Parks.  Shortly after this purchase Phil and Donna realized Ripon was where they wanted to be and raise a family.  Jacob (aka Jake) attended RC, and graduate from CSU Chico and the University of Central Florida; receiving his bachelors degree in Marketing and his masters degree in International Studies.  Jake currently sits on the Board for the Ripon Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Government Relations.  

Beside helping out at Jake's Phil and Donna Parks each have their own very successful careers.  For the last 12 years Phil, and his brother, Brad, have owned an Automotive Repair Shop in Stockton; Bill Parks Auto Repair.  Donna Parks is a mortgage broker in Ripon, with Ability Mortgage, and is a board member of the Ripon Unified School District.
